Carrie Jane Gray concept plan project

Help us choose a concept plan for an exciting multi-year project at Carrie Jane Gray Park! The concept plan aims to refurbish and modernize the park to premiere athletic park standards.

The project objectives are to provide direction for investment to continue to develop the Carrie Jane Gray athletic corridor, provide multisport opportunities for people of all ages in a central location, and to attract and host local, provincial, and national tournaments. The concept plan will help develop budgets and future investments for the City.

We are currently in phase one of the project. Phase two involves creating a construction-ready design package and phase three involves construction, which is dependent on capital plan and budget approvals by Council during 2025 budget deliberations.

In May, the City hosted a focus group with key user groups including Prince George Youth Baseball, Spruce City Men and Minor Boys Softball, Prince George BMX, Senior Men Baseball, etc. The focus group helped the project team identify areas for improvement and ideas to inform the draft concept plans. Now, we need your help to choose which concept plan best reflects community needs.
